SET UP AND TEST RIDE  Quetzal tandem Aerosteer
Saturday 18th Nov 2017
Bit of a Disappointing start, start today, Barry was here at the crake of down.
And set to setting up the rest of the Tandem, his riding position.
And set up the gears. The anticipation up, but the first thing was berry’s bags would not fit on the back as my knees would hit them.  That should have got us thinking but we mist that. Barry had a test ride and all was OK, so got the bike out in the road for a straight start, and then we fell off after only a foot or Two!!!  O dear !! See Video.
Good News there is a solution.
We can obtain a spacer to fit in the frame to make it longer.

My New Quetzal Recumbent Tandem.

This is the new
member of my cyclise Family,

A  Quetzal Recumbent Tandem, from Holland.

Well,  well , so the next new adventure  machine  has a landed from Holland.

Where else would one buy a Cycle but Holland? And Yes It arrived in two Boxes nicely paced and no Damage. OK it was more exceptive than some on the market but the quality of this one is exhalent.

And it to me looks nicer and the specifications where what we wanted.

Had some fun putting it together, and it lets you get to know it, I have been over it all not and have it in memory what is where and what it does and so on. Its exhalent the paint job and the parts and the frame are all very high spec and great quality I am very pleased with it.

Just need a tune up and some amusements and then a test ride.

I there is only one thing I HAVE NEVER RIDDEN ON A TWO WHEELED RECUMBENT!!

I had a play with one of Berry’s in the park but that was like a normal bike with under seat stirring.

It’s been many years since I have been on a two wheel bike the main resin is my eye sight  where I lost the ability to balance and became to headend so was not enjoying it so brought a trike, and loved it and still do , plus my beloved Velomobile again from Holland.

So its going to be interesting getting on it, but not at the front, as with the Greensped Tandem trike.

That was Great fun and had some real great times and memory’s on it but it was just too heavy on long fast road day rides, so we sold it and it now lives in Germany.

So a new episode in my cycling life opens and looking forward to it, on as you can see a Nice piece of Kit, hopefully see you on the roads.
